Jun Yang

Jun, a self-taught artist born in Seoul and now based in San Francisco, draws inspiration from his journey as a Queer immigrant to create evocative paintings, murals, and textile sculptures. His fabric sculptures with long arms, explores themes of trauma, healing. These interactive pieces invite viewers to engage physically and emotionally, fostering connections and Jun combines art with activism, advocating for LGBTQ+ and immigrant communities while celebrating the resilience and solidarity he has found in his second home in California.
